Blitz:GUI Toolkits

Program windows generally contain various gadgets for the user to interact with. These form the GUI (Graphical User Interface) of your program. Many different toolkits are available on the Amiga, including both built-in and third party kits. Four of these kits are supported by AmiBlitz:

Intuition Gadgets: The original Amiga OS gadgets built into OS 1.x and above.

GadTools: New and improved gadgets built into OS 2.x and above.

MUI: Popular third party GUI toolkit that brings many modern features and improvements over the standard toolkits. Available for all Amiga-like platforms.

TUI: Custom third-party toolkit built into AmiBlitz. Similar to MUI. Not available in the older Blitz Basic.
